Immediate Start
£50k - £56.5k Annual
Full-Time
Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) | Sheffield | £56,500
Continental | Food Manufacturing | Training & Development
I'm working with a client who is in the food and beverage industry and looking for someone to join their team.
Production runs around the clock, which means the engineering team plays a huge part in keeping everything moving. They're looking for an electrically biased Multi-Skilled Engineer who enjoys fault finding, solving problems under pressure and making improvements that keep the lines running efficiently.
You'll be working on a variety of processing and packaging equipment, carrying out both planned maintenance and responding to breakdowns when they occur. Alongside the day-to-day engineering, you'll have the chance to contribute to continuous improvement projects, support new equipment installations and help drive reliability across the site.
You'll be encouraged to investigate recurring faults, challenge existing processes and work closely with production to reduce downtime rather than simply getting the line running again.
What they're looking for:
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an electrical discipline, or a time-served apprenticeship
* Strong electrical fault-finding experience within a manufacturing environment
* Experience working with PLC-controlled machinery (fault finding required, programming beneficial)
* Previous food or FMCG experience would be advantageous, although other fast-paced manufacturing backgrounds will also be considered
If you're the sort of engineer who enjoys getting to the root of a problem and wants to join a business that's continuing to invest in its people and equipment, I'd like to hear from you.
Send me your CV and I'll aim to get back to you within 24 hours.
