Maintenance Electrician

Salary: £35,000 - £37,000

Hours:

* 40 hours per week (37.5 hours plus 2.5 hours contracted overtime)

* Rotating shifts:

* Week 1: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am – 4:00pm

* Week 2: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our engineering team within a busy heavy engineering environment. You'll be responsible for maintaining production equipment, diagnosing electrical faults and carrying out planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.

Key Responsibilities

* Electrical maintenance of manufacturing equipment.

* Fault finding and breakdown repairs.

* Planned preventative maintenance.

* Support continuous improvement projects.

* Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.

* Work closely with production and engineering teams.

Requirements

Essential

* Apprentice-trained Electrician.

* Strong electrical maintenance experience within heavy engineering or manufacturing.

* Ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults.

* Self-motivated with a proactive approach.

* Strong team player.
