Prospero Teaching are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join a Good Ofsted-rated Specialist School in Ringwood.

The school supports pupils aged 5-25 years with a range of complex needs, including:

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Communication and Interaction Difficulties
Severe and Complex Learning Disabilities
Speech, Language and Communication Needs
Behaviours That Challenge

Location: Ringwood, Hampshire
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Temporary or Permanent
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: From £104 per dayKey Responsibilities

Support pupils with autism, communication difficulties, and complex learning needs.
Build positive relationships that promote confidence, wellbeing, and engagement.
Assist pupils with emotional regulation, social interaction, and communication skills.
Deliver creative, practical, and differentiated learning activities.
Use calm, consistent, and trauma-informed approaches to support behaviour and learning.
Work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams to provide holistic support.
Support personal care needs where required.Experience & Qualifications

Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable, particularly within SEN settings.
A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
Positive, patient, resilient, and proactive approach.
Willingness to undertake personal care responsibilities when required.

Eligibility Requirements

Right to Work in the UK.
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
Two professional, child-related references.What Prospero Teaching Offers
