We are currently seeking an experienced MET Technician to join a reputable accident repair specialist in Southport. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled motor trade professionals looking to develop their career within a forward-thinking organisation committed to quality and customer satisfaction. The successful individual will be an integral part of a busy team delivering high standards of vehicle repairs and technical excellence.

Uniform provided for your roleDuties of an MET Technician:
Strip and rebuild the mechanical, electrical, and trim components of vehicles to high standards
Conduct four-wheel alignment checks and adjustments in accordance with manufacturer specifications
Ensure vehicles are protected during repair with appropriate safety equipment as an MET Technician
Work collaboratively with colleagues, vehicle damage assessors, and the production team to maintain smooth workflow
Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines, including COSHH and PPE requirements
Work with electric vehicles using relevant technical knowledge and skillsRequirements of an MET Technician:
Proven experience as an MET Technician or Auto Electrician with a recognised industry qualification such as IMI/ATA
Strong experience working within a bodyshop environment
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask
Dedication to delivering high-quality work and customer service excellence
Full UK driving licence is preferredThis is a full-time, onsite position based in Southport, working Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week. The role offers excellent opportunities for career progression within a growing organisation committed to staff development and quality service.
