Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Daventry Area

Salary: £55,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 (40 hours per week)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business operating within a fast-paced production environment.

Working as part of a close-knit engineering team, you will play a key role in maintaining production equipment, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring high levels of operational reliability across the site.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.

* Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on production equipment.

* Support continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment performance and reliability.

* Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.

* Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

* Work collaboratively with production teams to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency.

* Provide support and cover across shifts when required during holiday periods or business needs.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

* A recognised engineering qualification or time-served apprenticeship.

* 17th or 18th Edition electrical qualification.

* Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance skills.

* Previous experience within a manufacturing, food production, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or similar production environment.

* Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.

* The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.

* Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

* A proactive and flexible approach to work.
