Ability to adapt to company processes, quality standards and ways of working
Good understanding of machine set-up, make-readies and production efficiency
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes
Ability to work accurately and methodically
Good literacy and numeracy skills
Excellent communication skills
Flexible approach to working hours, including the ability to move to 12-hour shifts during peak periods
Willingness to learn new machines, processes and operating methods
Reliable, trustworthy and a strong team player
Able to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a changing production environment
Positive, motivated and willing to support others when needed
The Ideal Candidate
You will be someone who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of quality and efficiency, and is motivated to produce the highest standard of output at the best possible speed with the least waste.
You may already have direct folder gluer experience, or you may come from a similar packaging, print finishing, carton production or machine operating background where you have built strong transferable skills. What is most important is your ability to learn, adapt, follow process, and work to the company’s required standards.
You will be confident working as part of a team, able to use your own initiative, and comfortable working within a fast-paced machine operation. Flexibility is essential, as working hours may change during peak production periods.
