The Role
As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you'll be responsible for accurately inspecting damaged vehicles, producing detailed repair estimates, and ensuring repairs are completed in line with manufacturer standards and insurer requirements.

Key responsibilities include:
·Inspecting accident-damaged vehicles and assessing repair requirements.
·Producing accurate and comprehensive repair estimates using industry estimating systems.
·Liaising with technicians to determine repair methods and additional repair requirements.
·Monitoring repairs throughout the repair process and updating estimates where necessary.
·Communicating effectively with customers, insurers and colleagues regarding repair progress.
·Ensuring all repairs comply with manufacturer methods and industry standards.
·Managing repair costs while maintaining exceptional quality and customer satisfaction.
·Supporting efficient workshop planning to minimise vehicle downtime.

About You
You'll be an organised and knowledgeable estimator who enjoys delivering accurate assessments while providing excellent customer service.

You'll ideally have:
·Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, VDA, Bodyshop Estimator or Vehicle Estimator.
·ATA / IMI accreditation is essential, along with a proficiency in estimating systems such as Audatex, with strong IT and system skills.
·Strong knowledge of modern vehicle construction and accident repair methods.
·Excellent communication and organisational skills.
·The ability to work accurately in a fast-paced bodyshop environment.
·A full UK driving licence.
