The Role
As a Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician, you'll be responsible for preparing and refinishing vehicles to an exceptional standard, ensuring every repair meets manufacturer specifications and customer expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
·Preparing repaired vehicles for the painting process.
·Mixing and applying paint using modern spray equipment and manufacturer-approved products.
·Colour matching to achieve a seamless factory-quality finish.
·Carrying out priming, basecoat and clearcoat applications.
·Inspecting completed work to ensure the highest quality standards are achieved.
·Maintaining paint equipment and ensuring a clean, safe working environment.
·Working closely with Panel Beaters and MET Technicians to ensure efficient vehicle turnaround.
·Following all manufacturer guidelines and health and safety procedures.
About You
You'll be a skilled refinishing professional with an eye for detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding workmanship.
You'll ideally have:
·Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer, Paint Technician, Vehicle Painter or Paint Refinisher.
·Recognised qualification in Vehicle Refinishing (NVQ / IMI / City & Guilds / ATA or equivalent), with a commitment to continuous professional development.
·Strong knowledge of modern paint application and refinishing techniques.
·Excellent colour matching and blending skills.
·The ability to work efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality.
·A positive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills.
·A full UK driving licence.
