Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage and develop the outpatient department
Oversee the day-to-day running of the outpatient service, ensuring safe and efficient operations
Inspire, develop and support a multidisciplinary nursing team
Monitor departmental performance, KPIs and patient outcomes
Drive service improvements to enhance efficiency and the patient experience
Ensure compliance with CQC standards, clinical governance and risk management requirements
Lead audits, quality improvement projects and action plans
Promote best practice in patient safety, infection prevention, equality and diversity, and information governance
Work collaboratively with senior clinical and operational teams to achieve organisational objectivesAbout You

Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC registration
Nursing Diploma or Degree
Previous experience in a senior outpatient nursing or OPD Manager role
Proven leadership and people management experience
Strong knowledge of clinical governance, audits, quality improvement and performance management
Excellent understanding of CQC regulations
