Hales Group are recruiting for a Packing Operative to join our well-established client based in Southwold. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual to work within a brewery environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring finished products are packed accurately, safely, and efficiently, maintaining the highest quality standards while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the brewery's packaging processes. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail, and enjoys working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Pack bottled, canned, and kegged beer products in line with production schedules.
Operate and monitor packaging machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
Carry out quality checks on products and packaging materials, identifying and reporting any defects.
Label, box, palletise, and prepare finished goods for dispatch.
Ensure production targets and deadlines are met.
Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic work area in accordance with brewery and food safety standards.
Follow all Health & Safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Assist with line changeovers, cleaning, and basic machine maintenance where required. Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or packing environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Flexible approach to work and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks. Location: Southwold
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Up to 4 days per week
Shifts: 6:00am - 2:00pm / 11:00am - 6:00pm
Contract: Temporary ongoing
