This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced 1st & 2nd Line IT Technician looking to broaden their technical exposure and take the next step in their career.
Joining a growing organisation, you'll play a key role in supporting users, maintaining critical systems, and developing your skills across Microsoft cloud technologies and business applications.
Please note, this role is based on site 5-days near Colchester.
Key Requirements
Provide 1st and 2nd line support for hardware, software and user issues
Act as a first point of contact for IT incidents and service requests
Support and administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
Assist with Azure/Entra ID user administration, permissions and access management
Manage and resolve tickets in line with agreed service levels
Deliver excellent customer service and clear communication to end users
Work collaboratively with the wider IT team to resolve technical issues and improve service delivery
Key Experience
Previous experience in a 1st and/or 2nd Line IT Support role
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments
Knowledge of Azure and Entra ID administration
Experience working with service desk or ITSM ticketing systems
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and remote support environments
Familiarity with Intune, SCCM or similar endpoint management tools
Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM would be advantageous
Understanding of ITIL principles or an ITIL certification would be beneficial
Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with users across the business
