As a Bus & Coach Mech/Elec Tutor, you'll deliver apprenticeship training from a Metroline depot in Perivale, near Wembley. The role will focus specifically on Bus & Coach Mech/Elec delivery, combining classroom-based theory with practical workshop training and supporting apprentices as they develop their technical skills and industry knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have a strong Bus & Coach or PSV background, with excellent electrical knowledge and confidence working with modern vehicle systems. You'll understand safety standards, SRS, diagnostics, and the increasing electrical integration within the sector. Previous teaching experience is desirable but not essential, as training and support can be provided for the right candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Bus & Coach or Heavy Vehicle professional to move into training, gain teaching qualifications, and play a key role in supporting apprentices within a major employer environment.

The role:

Deliver Bus & Coach Mech/Elec apprenticeship training.
Work from a Metroline depot in Perivale, near Wembley.
Deliver a mixture of classroom theory and practical workshop sessions.
Support apprentices with modern vehicle systems, diagnostics, electrical principles, and safety standards.
Work closely with a major employer partner in a satellite delivery environment.
Bring technical content to life through practical examples, demonstration, and learner engagement.
Full-time permanent position, 37.5 hours per week.
Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm.
Full training provided, including support towards Level 3 AET.
Long-term opportunity within a growing Automotive apprenticeship provider.
The person:

Strong Bus & Coach, PSV, or Heavy Vehicle background.
Strong electrical knowledge essential.
Level 3 qualification required.
Recent Bus & Coach industry experience highly desirable.
Confident with modern vehicle systems, SRS, diagnostics, safety standards, and electrical integration.
Teaching experience desirable but not essential.
Able to work independently and hit the ground running.
Adaptable, resilient, confident, and comfortable working closely with a major employer partner.
