Sales & Operations Coordinator (Temp)
Location: Horsham (Full-Time, Office-Based)
Hours: 45 hours per week
Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required.
Key Responsibilities
Handle incoming customer enquiries via telephone and email in a professional and timely manner.
Manage shared inboxes, ensuring all enquiries are responded to or forwarded to the appropriate department.
Process availability checks, customer orders, and service requests using internal systems.
Produce reports and assist with operational enquiries.
Maintain customer and sales activity within the CRM system.
Prepare and distribute KPI and performance reports.
Coordinate pre-scheduled work for key customers.
Liaise with operational teams to confirm availability for customer requests.
Communicate booking confirmations and updates to customers.
Prepare quotations and process customer orders accurately.
Ensure purchase orders and supporting documentation are complete before processing.
Coordinate with internal teams and customers to ensure all required documentation is received promptly.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
Deliver excellent customer service through effective communication and problem solving.
Support the ongoing development and maintenance of internal systems and CRM platforms.
Assist with business improvement projects and cross-functional initiatives.
Carry out any other reasonable duties appropriate to the role.
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
The ability to remain calm and organised under pressure.
Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
Confidence working independently and as part of a team.
A proactive attitude with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
An understanding of how different departments work together to deliver excellent customer service.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as the office location is not easily accessible by public transport
