This is an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished Purchasing Manager to join the management team of a leading manufacturing business and assist in the development of its' supply chain and the ongoing management and support of their clients.
As the Procurement Manager you will be responsible for the sourcing, development and launching of new and innovative products into the business to enhance new market opportunities whilst negotiating and implementing all supplier commercial terms and developing and managing product category plans linking to market data, competitor analysis and financial goals.
Other key responsibilities will include implementing and analysing product pricing plans working closely with the sales teams to have the right pricing points and best margin opportunities, liaising with the marketing team through promotional activity, product guides and launching of new product ranges and maintaining full product integrity through supplier T&C’s, product accreditation and specification including price and product file maintenance.
You will be a confident Purchasing Manager with a track record of working within an engineering manufacturing environment and demonstrable experience of effectively communicating with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Any experience on centralising a procurement function and managing a large purchasing team would be a distinct advantage.
Ideally CIPS qualified, you will be an accomplished negotiator, with the ability to achieve positive and commercially beneficial outcomes for clients, suppliers and the company alike whilst maintaining healthy profit margins.
