Network Security Engineer (SC Cleared)

£380/day (Outside IR35)

Network Security Engineer needed with active SC Security Clearance. Hands-on experience of F5, Zscaler + Palo Alto technologies preferred.

6 Month Contract. Start ASAP in July/August 2026. The vast majority of the work is expected to be remote. However, there may be occasional travel to UK customer sites including - Wokingham, Corsham, Farnborough + Warwick.

Working with a global IT Consultancy supporting a leading Telecoms end client:

• Strong hands-on experience of: F5, Zscaler + Palo Alto IT security technologies, including Firewalls + Network Security.
• Technical Ownership of Customer Security infrastructure estate, processes, procedures, documentation + life cycle management.
• Acting as technical point of contact + escalation for Security related changes, modifications + projects for Firewall rule bases.
• Providing technical support, Change management, for hard physical changes + soft remote changes, customer inventory management, hardware software, EOL.
• Technical point of contact for vendor support for security infrastructure incidents.
• Design of customer networks including the support of High Level design (HLD) and Low Level design (LLD).
• Advantageous Skills: Checkpoint, Juniper, Bluecoat, Cisco Network Solutions, Cisco IPT/QoS/802.1x/Inflobox DNS, Switches, Wireless, VPN (ipsec, SSL VPN, DMVPN, WAN Routing Protocols.
• Telecoms industry experience preferred.
• Active SC Security Clearance is essential for this role.
