Service Transition Manager (Contract)

Strong emphasis on Supplier Management
Location: London (Hybrid - 2 days per week in office)
Rate: £450 per day (Inside IR35)
Duration: Initial 6 months (with potential extension)

My client is seeking an experienced Service Transition Manager to join a high-profile programme delivering critical IT and business change initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the smooth transition of new and changed services into live operational environments.

The successful candidate will have had a strong background in Supplier Management

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end service transition activities across multiple projects
• Ensure all services are delivered into support with clear documentation, SLAs, and support models
• Supplier Management
• Work closely with project, technical, and operational teams to manage risks and dependencies
• Drive adherence to ITIL best practices and governance frameworks
• Coordinate service readiness reviews and acceptance criteria
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within service transition processes

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven recent experience in a Service Transition Manager role
• Suplier Management
• Strong knowledge of ITIL (v3/v4) frameworks
• Experience working within complex, fast-paced environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities effectively

Additional Information:

• Hybrid working model (2 days per week onsite in London)
• Immediate start preferred
• Inside IR35 engagement
