Class 1 HGV Driver – Weekend Shifts

Pay Rates:

* Saturday: £24.00 per hour

* Sunday: £26.75 per hour

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to work weekend shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking to supplement their weekday work or those seeking regular weekend shifts.

Both AM and PM shifts are available, offering flexibility to suit your availability.

Working Pattern

Key Responsibilities

* Safely operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle.

* Complete supermarket store deliveries in accordance with scheduled routes.

* Ensure goods are delivered safely, accurately, and on time.

* Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.

* Complete all delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.

* Comply with all driver hours, tachograph, and health & safety regulations.

* Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional attitude.

Requirements

* Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence.

* Current Driver CPC Qualification Card.

* Valid Digital Tachograph Card.

* Previous Class 1 driving experience essential.

* Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations.
