Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 annual salary (Depending on experience)

We are a currently looking for a Office Administrator to join a growing M&E Contractor based in South London. Delivering high-quality engineering solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects.
We are currently seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly organised Office Administrator to manage their day-to-day office operations and support our commercial and HR teams.
Key Responsibilities
As an Office Administrator, you will be the backbone of our head office. Your daily duties will include:
Financial Administration: Raising and tracking Purchase Orders (POs), matching delivery notes, and processing supplier invoices accurately.
HR Support: Managing basic HR admin, assisting with the on boarding of new staff/subcontractors, tracking training certifications, and maintaining personnel files.
General Administration: Acting as the first point of contact for office enquiries, managing incoming/outgoing post, ordering office supplies, and providing ad-hoc administrative support to Project Managers.
Data Management: Updating internal systems, spreadsheets, and databases to ensure all project documentation is compliant and easily accessible.
The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience working in a busy administrative or office management role. Experience within the construction, M&E, or engineering sectors is highly desirable but not necessary.
Strong numerical skills with experience handling invoices and PO processes.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (particularly Excel and Word). Experience with construction-specific accounting or ERP software is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and prioritise a varied workload independently
