Location: South Kirkby, West Yorkshire
Contract: Ongoing Contract
Pay Rate: £25.00 per hour, Umbrella (or £18.80 PAYE)
Overtime: £36.00 per hour for all hours worked over 40 per week and all weekend hours.
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:00pm & Friday 7:00am - 1:00pm

We are looking for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our team based in South Kirkby. This is an excellent opportunity to work on the fabrication of high-quality acoustic enclosures and engineered products within a modern environment.
The Role
As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for reading engineering drawings, fabricating and welding metal components, and ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in producing bespoke products to precise specifications while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
Measure, mark out, cut and prepare materials for fabrication.
Ensure all required components are available before assembly.
Fabricate and weld metal components and structures to specification.
Work with mild steel, Zintec and galvanised sheet materials.
Grind, dress and finish completed fabrications.
Carry out quality inspections on completed work.
Complete quality inspection documentation.
Follow all company health and safety procedures.About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Previous experience as a Fabricator/Welder within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Experience working with mild steel, Zintec and galvanised sheet ranging from 0.9mm to 30mm.
Experience fabricating mild steel sections between 2mm and 10mm.
Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
Experience using a range of fabrication tools and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Good mathematical and engineering skills.
The ability to lift and handle large metal components.
Welding qualifications or certifications are advantageous.
Overhead crane experience is advantageous.Working Hours
This position is based on a 40-hour working week, with a mixture of day and afternoon shifts available.
Day Shift
Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
