Recruitment Resourcer

Smile Education is looking for a confident, organised and proactive Candidate Resourcer / Recruitment Resourcer to support one of our busiest education recruitment desks.

This is a key role within our Birmingham team. You will help us find, engage and support high-quality education staff for schools across the local area. You will be speaking to candidates daily, building relationships, booking registrations, supporting local candidate attraction events and working closely with one of our Directors to make sure schools have access to the right staff when they need them.

This role would suit someone who is confident on the phone, enjoys speaking to new people and thrives in a busy, target-driven environment.

You may already have experience as a Recruitment Resourcer, Candidate Resourcer, Talent Resourcer, Recruitment Consultant, Candidate Consultant or Education Recruitment Resourcer. We will also consider proactive people from a sales, customer service, hospitality, events, education, call centre or retail background who are looking to take their first step into recruitment.

What you’ll be doing
As a Candidate Resourcer, you will be:

sourcing candidates for teaching, teaching assistant and school support roles
calling advert responses and new applicants quickly
headhunting candidates through job boards, databases and social media
creating innovative candidate sourcing campaigns
reactivating candidates who have previously worked with or registered with Smile
booking candidates in for registrations, interviews and compliance appointments
supporting local candidate attraction events, open days and school/community activity
promoting education opportunities to candidates and keeping them engaged
updating our CRM accurately
supporting consultants with availability calls, compliance chasing and candidate shortlists
helping build strong local candidate pools for one of our largest desksWhat we’re looking for

able to attend local events and be present in the office with the team
interested in education, schools and making a positive differenceRecruitment experience is helpful, but not essential. The right attitude, work ethic and communication style are more important.
