I am looking for an Occupational Health Advisor to provide the full Occupational Health remit, including consultation, advice, education, medical assessments, and D&A testing where appropriate.
The role involves conducting case management appointments, assessing employee fitness for work, and issuing fitness certificates.
You will:
* To provide expert case management services for referrals relating to attendance, fitness for work and other requests for OH advice.
* Provide professional, comprehensive and written reports
* Provide expert advice in respect of legislative requirements and best practice relating to OH
* Provide fitness medicals and health surveillance that meet best practice requirements and in line with Health Partners’ policies and protocols
* Evaluate the results of medicals and surveillance provided, and ensure that the correct advice in relation to fitness is communicated, escalating where clinically appropriate
* Maintain valid and up-to-date registration with the NMC and comply with NMC guidelines in relation to professional issues, clinical supervision and continuous learning and development as a registered nurse
* You should be proficient in the provision of: Spirometry, Audiometry, General Medicals, Case Management, Fitness for role assessment
What we are looking for:
Registered Nurse (Part 1), with a postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health Degree/Diploma.
Hours:
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 6pm.
Location:
This is a hybrid role based at our client's site in Derby, you will be expected to work on-site three days a week whilst working the other two days at home.
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary based on skills and experience.
