P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently looking for a Parts Co-ordinator on a full-time, permanent basis located in Great Yarmouth.
Main Responsibilities:
* Identification of parts from manufacturer parts systems and schematic drawings
* Sourcing of parts from OEMs and alternative suppliers
* Raising purchase order requisitions and tracking deliveries
* Booking in and out of all materials to jobs
* Planning of upcoming tasks to ensure parts are available on time
* Ensuring accuracy of parts orders
* Monitoring and return of core and old units
* Organising and returning warranty parts
* Any other duty or task that may be deemed reasonable
Person Specification:
* 3 years’ previous experience in a parts procurement environment identifying engine/mechanical parts
* Strong operational involvement and willingness to get directly involved
* Demonstrates strong self-motivation and initiative
* Effective in both independent and team-oriented settings
* Proactive and demonstrates a strong willingness to learn
* Strong commitment to quality standards
* Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Packages
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure
* Negotiation skills
* Flexibility
Working Hours:
* Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 16:30 and Friday 08:30 – 15:30
* This will be fully office based
