This role supports quality assurance across engineering projects, ensuring suppliers, processes and deliverables meet strict industry and regulatory standards. Working closely with engineering and project teams, the position focuses on maintaining compliance, improving quality systems, managing inspections and ensuring safe, efficient delivery of technically complex work.

This position would suit a detail-focused quality professional with engineering or nuclear industry experience who enjoys working collaboratively across technical teams. It is ideal for someone confident with inspections, documentation and regulatory standards, who values safety, accuracy and continuous improvement in highly regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain quality plans, inspection processes and compliance documentation.
Support supplier qualification, audits and ongoing quality performance monitoring.
Manage non-conformances, corrective actions and root-cause investigations.
Conduct inspections, testing verification and documentation reviews.
Compile LTQRs (Life-time Quality Records) and ITPs (Inspection Test Plans)
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure regulatory and contractual quality standards are achieved.Requirements:
Proven experience in Quality Engineer position or similar QA/QC.
CSWIP 3.1 or PCN Level 2 desirable
Strong knowledge of Welding & Fabrication
Experience in the Nuclear industry desirable but not essential
Salary: £45k - £50k (negotiable - dependent on experience)
Location: Winchester with Travel - Mileage + Expenses paid
Permanent: Full time - Monday- Friday
