Atheray Stone are currently recruiting for a Project Quantity Surveyor to work for a major contractor based in London, as part of a large Rail Framework.
This position will offer the right candidate autonomy in running your own schemes from start to finish. This will include the drafting of sub contracts using the framework template, moving contracts into development, construction and through to final accounts. The contract is administered under a NEC4 Option A & E, so experience within this would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering or infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4 preferred)
Experience in subcontract management and cost reporting
Strong analytical and negotiation skills
Ability to build relationships across multidisciplinary teams
Experience within rail, earthworks, or geotechnical projects
Knowledge of Network Rail standards and processes
Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or commercial management
Progressing towards or already achieved RICS/ICES chartership
Candidate Profile
Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management
Previous experience within a civils framework environment would be beneficial
Main Contracting background, with at least four years post graduate experience
Live commutable to London and happy to commute
Right to work in the UK
