Production Engineer / CNC Estimator
Location: Hampshire (Hybrid Working)
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Pension + Life Insurance + Career Progression

You'll join a leading precision engineering manufacturer, working on complex components for industries including Aerospace, Defence, Nuclear and Marine. Full support will be provided if you're moving into estimating for the first time.
The Role
As an Estimator, you'll use your manufacturing knowledge to assess new projects and provide accurate quotations for precision-machined components.
Your responsibilities will include:
Producing quotations for complex CNC machining projects.
Reviewing engineering drawings and customer requirements.
Determining the most efficient manufacturing methods.
Estimating machining cycle times, tooling, fixtures and production costs.
Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal engineering teams.
Supporting projects from RFQ through to production.
Helping secure profitable new business for a world-class engineering company.
Who We're Looking For
This role would suit someone with a strong background in CNC manufacturing, particularly:
Production Engineer
Manufacturing Engineer
CNC Programmer
CNC Miller
CNC Turner
CNC Setter/Programmer
Estimating Engineer
You'll ideally have:
Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes.
Experience planning or supporting manufacturing methods.
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Good understanding of tooling, machining strategies and cycle times.
Experience working with precision-machined components.
Estimating experience isn't essential. If you understand how precision components are manufactured and want to develop your career into estimating, full training and support will be provided.
