We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join a busy and fast-paced team based in Oakham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys keeping things moving, solving problems on the fly, and making sure goods and materials get where they need to be – efficiently and on time.
You’ll play a key role in coordinating daily logistics activity, working closely with suppliers, customers, transport providers, and internal teams to ensure a smooth end-to-end operation.
What you’ll be doing
* Coordinating and overseeing day-to-day logistics operations
* Managing shipments and optimising transport routes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness
* Monitoring delivery performance and reporting on key KPIs
* Analysing logistics data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
* Communicating confidently with suppliers, customers, and 3PL providers regarding shipment updates and issue resolution
* Ensuring full compliance with UK transport regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies
* Providing a high level of customer service and professional telephone support at all times
* Supporting continuous improvement across logistics and supply chain processes
What we’re looking for
* Previous experience in logistics, transport, supply chain, or a similar coordination role (preferred)
* Confident communicator with excellent phone manner and stakeholder management skills
* Strong analytical ability with confidence working with data and reporting
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Able to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
* Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
Full-Time | Monday–Friday (08:45am–17:00pm)
