Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plant Fitter to join our team. This role involves working on a wide range of plant machinery, including excavators, dumpers, loading shovels, telehandlers, and more. Responsibilities

Conduct maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of plant machinery, including excavators, dumpers, loading shovels, and telehandlers.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
Ensure all machinery is maintained to the highest standards to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including parts used and time spent.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent qualification (essential).
Proven experience working with plant machinery, including excavators, dumpers, and telehandlers.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work.
Day-to-Day

Perform routine maintenance and servicing of plant machinery in the workshop.
Diagnose and repair faults to ensure machinery is operational and safe to use.
Collaborate with colleagues to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
Provide technical support and advice to team members when required.

Competitive basic salary of £39,000 - £41,000 per annum
