Technical Analyst – Food Production
Location: Willenhamm
Hours: Monday to Friday, (Apply online only)
Salary: £29,500 PA
We are recruiting for a Technical Analyst to join a leading manufacturer within the food coating industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for food quality and safety. Working as part of the Technical team, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet customer specifications, food safety standards and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine quality checks on raw materials, work-in-progress and finished products.
* Perform laboratory testing and product analysis in line with company procedures.
* Record, monitor and report test results accurately.
* Investigate quality issues and support root cause analysis where required.
* Ensure products comply with customer specifications and food safety standards.
* Assist with product trials and validation activities.
* Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure testing areas are kept clean and organised.
* Support internal and external audits by preparing technical documentation and records.
* Work closely with Production, Technical and Quality teams to resolve quality concerns.
* Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, Food Safety and HACCP procedures.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
* Previous experience in a food manufacturing, laboratory or quality assurance environment.
* Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
