Our client Wigan Council is looking for a Family Help Deputy Manager to join their family help team.
There will be two deputy managers supervising around 6 family help workers each, supervised by a practise manager.
Support the Practice Manager in leading and developing Family Help services.
Provide whole family supervision, coaching, and guidance to Family Help Practitioners.
Oversee complex cases and support effective decision-making to improve outcomes for children and families.
Ensure safeguarding concerns are identified, assessed, and managed appropriately.
Monitor the quality of assessments, plans, and interventions to ensure high standards of practice.
Promote strengths-based, relationship-focused, and child-centred approaches.
Work collaboratively with partner agencies, including schools, health services, police, and voluntary organisations.
Support workload management, case allocation, and performance monitoring.
Contribute to quality assurance activities, audits, and service improvement initiatives.
Assist with staff development, recruitment, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and safeguarding procedures.
