The Role

You'll be responsible for:

Planned preventative maintenance across production equipment
Electrical and mechanical fault finding
Responding to breakdowns in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Working on conveyors, motors, pumps, packaging equipment and automation systems
Supporting production changeovers and shift handovers
Improving reliability and reducing repeat failures
Maintaining accurate engineering records
Ensuring high standards of safety, quality and food compliance

What We're Looking For

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Engineering qualification
Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or a fast-paced production environment
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
Experience with automated machinery
A practical, hands-on approach to engineering
Ability to make decisions quickly under pressure
HACCP knowledge desirable
17th/18th Edition beneficial but not essential
