Graduate Project Manager (Manufcaturing)

Location: Newmarket, Suffolk
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 + training & progression

Looking to start a career in Project Management within manufacturing?

Do you enjoy organisation, problem solving, coordinating people, and seeing projects go from concept through to finished product?

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate or junior-level candidate to join a growing UK manufacturer.

This is fast-paced, manufacturing project management position where you’ll learn how projects move through design, procurement, production, and installation.

Full training will be provided, with genuine long-term progression opportunities into senior project management roles.

The Role

Working alongside experienced Project Managers, you’ll be involved in managing manufacturing projects from initial handover through to final delivery and installation.

You’ll gain exposure to:

* Manufacturing project management

* Production planning & scheduling

* Procurement & supplier coordination

* Cost tracking & project budgeting

* Working with design and CAD teams

* Production & assembly processes

* Quality control & delivery coordination

* Managing timelines using Gantt charts and project plans

You’ll work closely with internal departments including design, manufacturing, procurement, and operations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

This role would suit:

* A recent graduate with a technical understanding, who can demonstrate leading project during their course

* Someone organised, proactive, and eager to learn

* A strong communicator who enjoys coordinating projects and people

* Someone commercially aware with good attention to detail

* Candidates interested in operations, manufacturing, or programme/project management careers
