Red Sky Personnel is seeking a Permanent Strategic Sales Manager for a leading Airlines and Aviation company based in England. This is a field-based role primarily located on the road, with the company’s local office situated at Gatwick Airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business growth across the UK by developing and maintaining relationships with airports, airlines, and ground handling companies. The role requires a proactive, target-oriented individual who excels in face-to-face engagement, negotiation, and closing deals. The position offers a competitive salary of £55,000 - £60,000, complemented by commission, a company vehicle, and potential for additional earnings based on performance. The role reports directly to the Managing Director and typically follows a Monday to Friday schedule with flexible hours.
Proven B2B sales experience with a strong record of generating and closing new business
Experience in the aviation sector, particularly related to Ground Support Equipment (GSE), logistics, or infrastructure-based clients (desirable)
Comfortable with extensive travel and field-based activities
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven
Ability to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives
Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
Strong networking skills and the ability to represent the company effectively at industry events
Knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, and CRM systems for pipeline management
