The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and support staff to help pupils access learning and achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities

Provide classroom support to pupils across a range of subjects.
Deliver 1:1 support for students with SEND and additional learning needs.
Support children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties.
Assist with learning interventions and academic progress.
Encourage positive behaviour and student engagement.
Help pupils build confidence, independence and social skills.
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff.
Support the creation of a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
