HR Officer
We are looking for an organised and proactive HR Officer to join our friendly HR team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who is passionate about delivering an efficient and professional HR service. The successful candidate will support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, safeguarding checks, payroll administration, employee records, absence management, and HR compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support recruitment, onboarding and employee administration.
* Complete pre-employment checks, including references, DBS, qualifications and right to work.
* Maintain accurate employee records and the Single Central Register.
* Assist with payroll administration and HR reporting.
* Support absence management and probation processes.
* Provide advice and support on HR policies and procedures.
* Respond to HR queries and work closely with managers across the organisation.
* Help maintain confidential HR systems and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
About You:
* Previous HR or administration experience is desirable.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information.
* Confident using Microsoft Office and HR systems.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicant will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check, including barred list checks, and all pre-employment safeguarding checks.
