Keep the UK's Most Thrilling Attractions Running

Tired of the same production lines, factory environments and repetitive maintenance routines?

If you're an Electrical Maintenance Technician looking for something different, this is your chance to leave the factory floor behind and work on some of the UK's most exciting attractions.

From rollercoasters and water rides to ride control systems, PLCs and electrical infrastructure, you'll be working on a huge variety of equipment in a unique outdoor environment where no two days are ever the same.

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in keeping attractions operating safely and reliably for thousands of guests every day. One minute you could be carrying out pre opening inspections, the next fault finding on automated systems or responding to a ride critical breakdown.

This isn't just another maintenance role. It's an opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to develop specialist skills, work on equipment unlike anything found in traditional industry and see the direct impact of your work every single day.

We're looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a specialist engineering team responsible for the reliability, safety and performance of some of the UK's most iconic attractions.

What You'll Be Doing

Carrying out daily safety inspections, testing and pre opening checks across a wide range of electrical systems and attractions
Completing planned preventative maintenance activities to maximise reliability and performance
Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults using a logical and methodical approach
Responding quickly and effectively to breakdowns and operational issues
Maintaining and troubleshooting PLC controlled equipment and automated systems
Working across rollercoasters, water rides, themed attractions and electrical infrastructure
Collaborating with mechanical engineers and operational teams to ensure attractions remain safe and available
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, technical drawings and manuals
Accurately completing maintenance records and compliance documentation
What We're Looking For

Experience within electrical maintenance, manufacturing, industrial, FMCG, automation or similar engineering environments

Strong electrical fault finding and diagnostic capability

A hands on approach with excellent problem solving skills

The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure

Level 3 qualification or above in an Electrical Engineering discipline

Experience of PLCs, control systems, automation or industrial electrical systems would be advantageous.

Why Join?

Work on Equipment Unlike Anything Else

This isn't another maintenance role in a factory, warehouse or production environment. You'll gain exposure to unique attraction systems, ride control technology, advanced automation, electrical infrastructure and safety critical equipment that few engineers have the opportunity to work on.

Enjoy Genuine Variety

No two days are the same. You'll work across multiple attractions, ride types and engineering challenges in a dynamic environment where every day brings something new.

Work in a Unique Outdoor Environment

Spend your days in one of the most exciting workplaces in the UK rather than being confined to the same four walls every day. You'll work throughout the park, across attractions and behind the scenes operations, enjoying a far more varied and engaging setting.

Make a Real Difference

Every repair, inspection and improvement contributes directly to the experience of thousands of guests each day. You'll see the results of your work immediately as attractions open, operate safely and create unforgettable memories for visitors.

Develop Specialist Skills

Build experience across rollercoasters, water rides, PLC systems, safety critical equipment and highly specialised attraction technology while working alongside a skilled and supportive engineering team.

Ready for a Different Kind of Engineering Career?

Apply today and help keep some of the UK's most exciting attractions operating safely, reliably and at their very best.
