Job Description

Currently we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Head of Care Quality, Compliance and Governance to join an ambitious and growing luxury care provider.

This is a unique opportunity to shape and lead the quality, governance and clinical excellence strategy across a portfolio of premium care homes, ensuring every service delivers exceptional resident experiences whilst achieving the highest regulatory standards.

Working closely with the Executive Team, you will provide strategic leadership across quality assurance, governance, clinical practice and regulatory compliance, creating scalable frameworks that support Outstanding-rated services and the organisation’s vision of creating a world where everyone feels special.

Salary: Competitive (DOE)

Position: Head of Care Quality, Compliance and Governance

Hours: Full Time – 40 hours per week

Setting: Luxury Residential, Nursing & Dementia Care

Location: Remote with regular travel across Essex

Your key responsibilities will be;

* Lead the organisation’s quality, compliance and governance strategy.

* Develop robust governance frameworks supporting Outstanding care.

* Oversee audits, inspections and continuous quality improvement.

* Provide expert guidance on safeguarding and regulatory matters.

* Support Home Managers through operational and clinical challenges.

* Lead clinical governance, competency and development programmes.

* Build strong relationships with regulators and external stakeholders.

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;

* Registered Nurse with unrestricted NMC PIN or equivalent governance experience.

* Senior leadership experience within adult social care.

* Proven success supporting Outstanding CQC inspection outcomes.

* Strong understanding of governance, safeguarding and clinical risk.

* Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel.
