Job Description

Currently we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to join a luxury, values-led care home in Chelmsford. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an ambitious organisation that is redefining later life care by creating exceptional environments where residents, families and colleagues all feel valued.

Working alongside a highly visible and supportive leadership team, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding care, developing your team and supporting the continued growth of the service. This is an exciting time to join, with the home continuing to increase occupancy and expand its nursing community.

Salary: Competitive (DOE)

Position: Deputy Manager

Hours: Full Time – 40 hours per week

Setting: Luxury Nursing, Residential & Dementia Care Home

Location: Chelmsford, Essex

Your key responsibilities will include;

* Support the General Manager in delivering outstanding person-centred care.

* Lead, coach and develop multidisciplinary teams across the home.

* Maintain compliance with CQC standards and internal quality audits.

* Build positive relationships with residents and their families.

* Support occupancy growth through exceptional resident experiences.

* Manage staffing, rotas and departmental budgets effectively.

* Champion a culture where every resident feels valued and respected.

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;

* Previous leadership experience within elderly care services.

* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance.

* Passion for delivering exceptional person-centred care.

* Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

* A stable employment history with genuine commitment to care.
