Locations: Bradford (BD12, BD13 & BD19)
Salary: £24,843 - £32,248.55 per annum
Hours: Full-time rota-based positions available (including sleep-in and non-sleep-in roles)
We are recruiting passionate and dedicated Children’s Residential Support Workers to join our team supporting children and young people across our Bradford residential services.

The Role
As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will work as part of a committed team to provide consistent and individualised support to young people. You will build positive relationships, act as a trusted role model and help young people feel safe, valued and listened to.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing high-quality care and support to children and young people.
* Creating a safe, caring and nurturing home environment.
* Building positive, respectful relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
* Supporting young people with their emotional, social and practical needs.
* Encouraging independence, confidence, life skills and positive choices.
* Supporting education, activities and community involvement.
* Following individual care plans and contributing to reviews and assessments.
* Supporting young people to manage behaviours positively and develop self-esteem.
* Working collaboratively with families, social workers, schools, health professionals and other agencies.
* Maintaining accurate records and completing required administration.
* Promoting safeguarding and the welfare of young people at all times.

You will ideally have:
* Experience working with children, young people, care, education or support services (desirable).
* A caring, patient and understanding approach.
* The ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively.
* Resilience and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting positive outcomes for young people.
