Location: Exeter
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 + Benefits
Are you an experienced Geoenvironmental Consultant looking to take the next step into a leadership position with a respected specialised environmental consultancy?
We are seeking an Associate Geoenvironmental Consultant to join a growing Exeter office. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in developing the geoenvironmental team, managing a diverse portfolio of projects, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to business development within a collaborative and supportive environment.
You'll work on a variety of exciting projects across residential, commercial, infrastructure and regeneration sectors, providing technical expertise from initial site investigation through to remediation and project delivery.
The Role
Lead and manage geoenvironmental projects from inception to completion.
Oversee Phase 1 Desk Studies, Phase 2 Ground Investigations and Contaminated Land Risk Assessments.
Design and supervise site investigations and remediation strategies.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Prepare fee proposals and support business development activities.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high technical standard.
Work closely with geotechnical, engineering and environmental teams on multidisciplinary projects.Requirements
Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Earth Sciences or a related discipline.
Extensive experience within geoenvironmental or contaminated land consultancy.
Strong knowledge of contaminated land legislation and risk assessment.
Experience managing projects and leading teams.
Excellent report writing and communication skills.
