Quality Inspector (Nights) - Aerospace Manufacturing

Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary: Up to £50,000 including 33% shift premium + Overtime
Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30pm-4:30am | Friday 2:30pm-7:30pm

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Inspector, Mechanical Inspector or CMM Inspector to join a leading aerospace manufacturer in Basildon. Working within a modern precision engineering environment, you'll inspect aerospace components to ensure they meet customer and AS9100 quality standards.

Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspection
Complete FAIRs to AS9102 standards
Use precision measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges and DTI
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Support quality improvements and Right First Time initiatives
Work closely with production and engineering teamsThe Ideal Candidate

Previous experience as a Quality Inspector, Mechanical Inspector or CMM Inspector
Aerospace or precision engineering background
Able to read engineering drawings
Experience with AS9102 FAIRs
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100
