We are seeking a motivated Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing team within the commercial vehicle sector. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your engineering career while supporting the design, development, and continuous improvement of innovative products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce 3D CAD models and detailed fabrication/assembly drawings.
* Support engineering projects from concept through to manufacture.
* Work with sales, production, purchasing, and suppliers to deliver customer requirements.
* Carry out engineering calculations and technical documentation.
* Provide technical support to manufacturing and assist with continuous improvement activities.
* Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, including EN12609 and WVTA requirements.
Essential Requirements:
* HNC in Mechanical Engineering (or working towards one), or equivalent.
* Experience with 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred) and AutoCAD.
* Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
* Ability to interpret technical requirements and produce detailed engineering drawings.
