Location: Manchester
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Are you an experienced Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant looking to take the next step in your career? As a Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in managing complex site investigations, overseeing contaminated land assessments, and providing technical guidance to clients and junior team members. Managing and delivering geo-environmental and contaminated land projects from inception to completion
Planning, supervising, and coordinating intrusive site investigations
Undertaking contaminated land risk assessments and remediation strategies
Interpreting geological, geotechnical, and environmental data
Preparing Phase 1 Desk Studies, Phase 2 Site Investigation Reports, and technical interpretative reports
Liaising with clients, contractors, regulators, and multidisciplinary project teams
Mentoring and supporting junior consultants and engineers
Managing project budgets, programmes, and resource allocation
Ensuring compliance with current environmental legislation and health and safety standards
Supporting business development activities and client relationship managementWhat We're Looking For

Proven experience working as a Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant or in a similar geo-environmental role
Degree qualified in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering Geology, Geo-Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
Strong understanding of contaminated land legislation and UK regulatory frameworks
Experience managing site investigations and contaminated land risk assessments
Excellent report writing and technical interpretation skills
Strong project management and client-facing experience
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Full UK driving licence
Right to work in the UK
