What will you do as an Accounts Assistant?

* End-to-end purchase ledge, including invoice processing, coding and approvals

* Maintain supplier accounts, resolve queries and reconcile supplier statements

* Cash flow reporting, month-end activities, accruals and aged creditors

* Ensure accurate coding across nominal, departmental and project cost centres

* Support credit control activities, including customer statements and payment allocations

* Assist with VAT returns, audit preparation and stock takes

What do you need as an Accounts Assistant?

* Previous experience within Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable

* Strong understanding of accounting principles and finance processes

* AAT qualified or studying towards AAT (desirable)

* Excellent Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs

* High level of accuracy and attention to detail

* Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively
