Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Senior Electrical Supervisor to join a growing electrical and renewable energy team specialising in EV charging infrastructure projects across domestic and commercial sectors.

The successful candidate will oversee and support installation teams, ensuring all electrical works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest industry standards. The role includes hands-on installation work, testing and inspection, quality assurance, technical support, and site supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Install, service, and maintain EV charging equipment at domestic and commercial sites.

Supervise and support electrical installation engineers both on-site and remotely.

Carry out electrical testing, inspection, and certification of completed works.

Ensure all installations comply with current regulations, industry standards, and internal procedures.

Conduct site surveys, technical assessments, and pre-installation reviews.

Perform quality control checks and site audits on completed projects.

Diagnose electrical faults and provide effective technical solutions.

Promote and maintain safe working practices at all times.

Complete all certification, job documentation, reporting, and photographic evidence accurately.

Provide a professional and customer-focused service on-site.

Support the training and mentoring of junior engineers and subcontractors.

Assist with technical queries and utility network applications where required.

Work closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently.

Safely use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.

Maintain high standards of workmanship, communication, and customer service.

Optional overtime and Saturday work available.

Requirements

Essential

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).

2391 or 2392 Inspection & Testing qualification.

Previous experience as an Electrician or Electrical Supervisor.

Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry.

Experience installing EV charging equipment across multiple manufacturers.

Ability to independently complete electrical testing and certification.

Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Full UK Driving Licence.

High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
