We are supporting a well-regarded Children's Home in Shinfield that is looking to recruit dedicated Residential Care Workers. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with an immediate start available.
The home is rated Good in all areas by Ofsted and provides specialist support through a 3:1 placement for children with complex care needs.
Role Details:
Position: Residential Care Worker
Location: Shinfield
Hours: Full-Time
Shift Pattern: 7:30am – 9:30pm
Rate: Up to £14 per hour (Paid Breaks)
Setting: Children's Residential Home – Complex Care
About the Residential Care Worker Role:
As a Residential Care Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to children with complex care needs, helping them develop independence, confidence, and life skills in a safe, nurturing environment. You will work closely with a supportive team to deliver the highest standards of care and promote positive outcomes for each young person.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Children's Support Worker is desirable.
* Candidates with experience supporting younger adults and/or individuals with learning disabilities will also be considered.
* Compassionate, resilient, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to build positive relationships with young people and colleagues.
