We are currently working alongside a social housing contractor in the Warrington area who is recruiting for a Site Manager to work on a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment scheme.
Job Description:
As a Site Manager working on planned works programmes, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of projects. You will play a key role in managing and coordinating the delivery of planned works to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and coordinate on-site construction and refurbishment activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
Oversee subcontractors, tradespeople, and site staff, ensuring their work is aligned with project specifications and goals.
Act as the main point of contact for clients, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing their needs and concerns.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Monitor project costs and resources to ensure projects stay on budget and on schedule.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to make sure project objectives are met.Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Site Manager, preferably in social housing or planned works.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Valid construction-related certifications and qualifications e. SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS.Benefits:
