An innovative technology manufacturer is looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a small production team while supporting the assembly, testing and delivery of advanced electrical and electronic systems.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Production Supervisor to join a business at a pivotal stage of growth, where you will play a key role in developing scalable production processes, building a high-performing team, and supporting the successful delivery of innovative products.
As Production Supervisor, you will:
Lead and motivate a small team of technicians.
Manage production workflows using the MRP system.
Carry out hands-on electrical and mechanical assembly.
Assemble wiring looms and complete crimping activities.
Perform inline and end-of-line testing.
Maintain production records for traceability and quality.
Create work instructions and improve manufacturing processes.
Work closely with Engineering, Procurement and Supply Chain teams.
Monitor KPIs and drive Lean and Six Sigma improvements.
Ensure high standards of quality, safety and efficiency.
The key skills required for the Production Supervisor will be:
Previous experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
Strong wiring, loom assembly, crimping and mechanical assembly skills.
Experience testing electrical or electronic systems.
Knowledge of MRP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics.
Lean Manufacturing experience and relevant qualifications.
Understanding of Six Sigma methodologies.
Familiarity with workplace Health & Safety requirements.
Strong organisational and team leadership skills.
