We are working on behalf of our client, a reputable independent garage in Milton Keynes, seeking a Senior Technician to join their experienced team. Benefits for the successful Senior Technician:
Basic salary up to £45,760 (£22 per hour), with overtime paid at double rate (up to £44 per hour)
Overtime available with any hours worked paid at 2x hourly rate
Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, 40 hours per week
No weekend work, allowing for a healthy work/life balance
Supportive management team fostering a positive working environment
Access to state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and modern workshop facilities
Opportunity to work on high-end brands, particularly premium German manufacturers
Dependable, well-structured pay with overtime enhancementsDuties of the Senior Technician:
Conduct diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and mechanical work on a diverse range of vehicles
Diagnose complex faults accurately and efficiently
Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
Provide a professional, friendly customer service experience at all times
Assist junior team members, sharing technical knowledge and best practices
Ensure all work complies with industry and manufacturer standards
Keep workshop and diagnostic equipment maintained and functional to high standardsRequirements of the Senior Technician:
Recognised qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, with a focus on high-end or German brands preferred
Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Positive attitude and proactive approach to work
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Willingness to learn and stay current with industry developments
