We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Paralegal to join our expanding Legal team within a modern, progressive company. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and career focused individual to play a key role in the continued growth of thebusiness while developing their own career.
The ideal candidate:
* The successful candidate will be organised, detail focused and confident working both independently and as part of a small, supportive team.
* Ideally, you will have at least 2 years’ experience in residential conveyancing and be confident supporting matters through to completion.
* A law degree, paralegal qualification or relevant legal experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.
Your duties:
* Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from file opening through to completion, including purchases, sales, remortgages, probate sales, transfers and redemptions
* Handle client enquiries, liaise with all parties and provide clear, proactive updates throughout each transaction
* Prepare and issue contract packs, property reports and supporting legal documentation
* Raise, review and respond to enquiries accurately and efficiently
* Manage the receipt and arrangement of funds in accordance with firm procedures
* Prepare and submit Land Registry applications and deal with requisitions
* Prepare SDLT submissions and carry out post-completion matters
* Support leasehold and new build transactions where required
* Use Leap Legal Software where appropriate; previous experience would be beneficial but is not essential
