MIG Welder/Fabricator
Location: Wolverhampton
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm (40 hours per week)
Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per annum (£14.42 – £15.38 per hour), dependent on experience
We are looking for an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering excellent working hours with no weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out MIG welding to a high standard.
Read and interpret engineering drawings.
Measure, mark out, cut, and fabricate steel components.
Assemble and tack weld products prior to final welding.
Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards.
Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety procedures.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in MIG welding and metal fabrication.
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
Experience using fabrication tools and workshop machinery.
Ideally hold an NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Fabrication & Welding, Engineering, or a related discipline, or have proven industry experience in a similar fabrication role.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong understanding of health and safety within a fabrication environment.
